"My Eton Days" subscriptions are a unique service that we offer to Eton College Parents and Boys.

Inspired from my own experience of having nothing to tell the story of my time at Rugby, I wanted to create something for the boys at Eton that I would have loved to have myself today - over 30 after leaving school. The idea of a photo-book was thus born - something that could include snippets of their life there, with them and their friends of the time, beaks that helped them so much and that would allow them to prove to their grandchildren that they really COULD play rugby! Something that would withstand the tests of time both visually and physically. Something that would show the changes he would go through; starting off as an innocent and, lets face it, scared F Blocker with father's old tailcoat sleeves way too long, and a tail that came down to his ankles, slowly maturing and blossoming into a young man, smart, intelligent, full of confidence,  and ready to attack the outside world of business, finance, academia or the Arts. 

It was thus that the "My Eton Days" program was created. 

Instead of remembering his time at Eton through countless House photos and Team photos which, in time will invariably end up at the back of a cupboard or in a wine box in the loft, you are now able to give him something that captures his true personality, that tells the story in photos of his time at school by showing the activities he gets involved in, the friends he has made and the beaks who form part of his life. We take a series of 3 photo shoots of him each year that he is at Eton. You then have the option of us compiling all the photos into an incredible heirloom photo book that will allow him to look back at these times with fondness and pride.

As an Eton Days Subscriber,  your son will have 3 photo shoots per year (1 per term). Each photo shoot is about 30 minutes to an hour long and varies from a formal shoot around and about the college grounds, to a rugby match, to a fun reportage style shoot with a group of friends, during a play or concert that your son is in and so on.

Flexibility You are free to renew or cancel your subscription and the beginning of each new academic year. Then at the end of his fifth year you can choose from a wide range of top quality photo-books and albums ranging from clean cut modern styles, to the more traditional leather bound editions or the more modern fully bound photo-books. As we progress, you can purchase photos after each session and will be made available as simple prints, digital files, collages and triptychs, cut-outs and many other ways of presenting the photos, making great gift ideas for Grandparents and Godparents and relatives. We also have a large range of inexpensive silver plated tabletop frames that would add a special something to each photo. Subscription prices cover the shooting time, admin and organisation of the shoots and does not cover any optional products such as prints, photo-books, collages etc. These are all available for purchase during or after your subscription has ended. Prints start at just £18 after the shoot.  Please note that the cost of a final photo-book is not included in the subscription price. Each photo-shoot is published into an individual master album so that you can keep track of your son's photo-shoots and watch the collection (and your son) grow over the months and years. Over the years that your son is at Eton, we will collect a varied and rich range of photos that will make the final album come alive and become a wonderful chronicle of such an important part of his life. My Eton Days Subscriptions - Questions & Answers

Q - How long do I have to commit for ?
A - "My Eton Days" subscriptions are renewed at the beginning of each academic year. You only commit to one year at a time (that's 3 photoshoots) and can take the option of not renewing at the end of each academic year.

Q - Do I have to buy any prints or files during the subscription ?
A - No; There is no requirement at all for you to purchase anything during the course of your subscription. However, we do have all manner of prints, framed photos, photo books, acrylic wall frames, cutouts and so on, during your subscription. Please also note that the cost of your subscription does not include the cost of prints, digital files or final photobooks as these are all priced individually, based on the number of pages and size of the books themselves. Q - Do you literally follow my son around the college grounds - he would find this embarrasing!
A- Absolutely not ! The last thing we want is to embarrass your son, with a lens fixed on him all the time, so all our shoots are arranged at discrete times, when other students aren't around. They are all pre-arranged with your son at a time that's convenient for him and are for a maximum of one hour at a time ( & often less).

Q - Will it interfere with his studies ?
A - Not at all - We have a very flexible agenda and are able to fit shoots in at most times of the day. Furthermore, some shoots, such as a football or rugby match,  don't even involve any extra time from him as we'll just be on the touchline while he's playing. Although we allow an hour for each shoot, most actually just take between 15 and 45 minutes (Housemasters and dames for example wouldn't want to have a shoot with them that takes longer than 15 minutes or so).

Q - Do I need to organise all the shoots for him?
A - We do all the organisation for you. We would normally E-mail your son directly, cc'ing in the Dame and yourself, so that everyone is kept informed every step of the way.
